Getting to Sousse
By air via Enfidha or Monastir, by train or shared taxi from Tunis: every way to get here, and how long it takes.
By air
- Enfidha-Hammamet airport (NBE), 45 km north: charter and low-cost flights from Europe. Taxi or shuttle, 40 min.
- Monastir airport (MIR), 20 km south: charter flights. Taxi, 25 min; the Sahel metro also links the airport to Sousse.
- Tunis-Carthage airport (TUN), 140 km: scheduled flights. Then train, shared taxi or car, about 2 hours.
By train
The Tunis–Sousse line (SNCFT) has several trains a day, 2 to 2.5 hours. The station is in the city centre, five minutes from the medina.
By shared taxi (louage)
Louages leave Moncef Bey station in Tunis as soon as they are full: 1h45, for a few dinars.
By car
The A1 motorway links Tunis to Sousse in 1.5 hours (toll).
